Making the most out of food!
I’d cooked a leg of Turkey the day before and so this was a meal made from scraps in my fridge.
Unfortunately I can’t remember exactly how I made this, or the quantities of ingredients…but here goes:
- Boil 1.5 cups of sticky rice
- Slice 4 stalks of spring onions
- Heat frying pan
- Chop finely and fry a clove of Garlic in Olive oil
- Add a sliced Red Onion
- Add a handful of sliced Mushrooms
- Add the Turkey scraps
- Add rice to pan
- Stir together with half of the spring onion and put into a mould
- Dish out and add spring onion garnish
