Do you try to do everything on your own? Even when you could ask for help?
Sometimes we have to accept that we cannot do things on our own and ask for help. It’s not always easy but it’ll make for stronger relationships and better outcomes. Talking with a friend the other day made me realise how much we all need to share each others strengths to reach our goals.
It reminds of when leadership speaker Paul Scanlon spoke about “reframing your thinking about limitation” – not being able to do something isn’t aways a negative thing, especially if you have others around you to support you
Don’t always try and do life on your own, ask for help when you need it and don’t be embarassed. I hope that if I can ever help someone out, that they feel they can ask without any worry of losing face.

Do
- Let family or friends know what’s going on with you. They may be able to offer support
- Ask people that have more experience in that field for help or guidance
- Stay positive
Don't
- Be disheartened when you find something harder to do
- Turn to drink or drugs
- Give up
